TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MEMBERS
These terms and conditions form the basis of the contract through which Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd (we or us), will provide a service to you as a Member (you). On becoming a member of Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd, you are automatically agreeing to these terms and conditions and providing us with appropriate consent to handle your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- What are the Benefits of ‘Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd’ Membership?
As a Member you will receive our Monthly newsletter which includes educational and informative material on traffic matters within the Road Traffic Act 1988 designed to prevent you from committing a traffic offence. Members will be referred to a pro-bono specialist traffic law barrister for free advice and advocacy at any court in England and Wales if required (no fees guaranteed)
Membership is available as either:1. Standard
2. Comprehensive Single
3. Comprehensive Partner
Is this a contract?
Once your application to become a member is accepted by us, it will result in a legally binding contract once you receive our confirmation letter and welcome pack via email.
Are there any significant exclusions or limitations to Membership?
Membership is only available within UK Residents. Membership may be cancelled if money is owed to Protect Your Licence Ltd.
How long is the Membership valid for?
The duration of your Membership is for a minimum of 12 months from the date of subscription and will run until either the main Member or Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd exercises their right to cancel.
What if I want to cancel my Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd Membership?
You have the right to cancel your Membership within a 14 day “Cooling off” period, commencing either from the agreement of the contract, or the receipt of your Membership documents, whichever happens later. The following refund policy will apply for Members cancelling within the cooling off period:1. For members paying annually, subject to any other statutory rights you may have, there will be no refund following the “Cooling Off” period. 2. Continuous Members paying monthly can cancel their Membership at any time exceeding 11 paid months Membership by giving a minimum of 30 days’ notice.
Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance of its obligations by reason of matters beyond its control including, but not limited to, any act of terrorism, war, riot, civil commotion, fire, storm, strikes or any industrial dispute, delay in transit, postal failure or any event that cannot be reasonably be planned for or avoided.
Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd do not pass personal details to any third party and are GDPR compliant. If you believe any of the information we hold concerning you is incorrect or out of date, please provide us with accurate information.
What if I need to Complain?
We aim to provide you with a high level of service at all times. However, there may be a time when you feel that our service has fallen below the standard you expect. Changes to your Personal Details
Changes to your name or address must be notified to Protect Your Driving Licence Ltd immediately. This must be done by contacting us via telephone, email, in writing or through the website.
